A NOTE FROM US
" 2017 was a cool year in the vineyard with moderate yields. This produced a chardonnay that is bright and fresh with lovely pear and peach characteristics, finished with a subtle twist of citrus. Gently aged on a mixture of new and old oak barrels, this is a great food chardonnay. Enjoy at your next meal with family and friends." - Matt & Vanessa
THE 1830 STORY......
This wine in named in honour of John Dunbabin, who lived as a tenant farmer in the Bangor region of Wales. At the age of 23 he was transported to Van Diemen's Land as a convict, arriving in Hobart Town in December 1830. Through hard work and determination he earned his freedom and bought his own land, paving the way for 5 generations of farming legacy here at Bangor.
