Discover the Wonders of Tasmanian Wildlife: A Science Showcase for All Ages!

The Tasman region boasts spectacular wildlife and unique habitats. Join us for an unforgettable afternoon learning about some of Tasmania's most iconic and fascinating wildlife from the scientists who know them best!

Date: Saturday 27th July
Time:  4 - 7pm
Program: Intro from Dr Matt Dunbabin followed by two talks (Eric & Bill) and Q&A (4-5:30pm). Then meet the scientists & nibbles (5:30-7pm).
Included: Light nibbles
Cost: $15 adults, $5 children (5-17 years, children under 5 welcome for free sitting on an adult's lap)
Where: Bangor Vineyard Shed

Talks and meet the Experts:

  • Dr. Eric Woehler OAM: Renowned bird ecologist, will reveal the vital role Tasmania plays as a refuge for shorebirds. Discover the secrets of these incredible birds and why our region is crucial for their survival.
  • Bill Brown: Wildlife biologist and Tassie Devil specialist will share insights into the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program. Learn about the unique, disease-free devil population thriving on the Forestier and Tasman Peninsulas.
