Crafted from Pinot Noir grapes, Bangor’s Maria Rosé is a bright and refreshing wine, with aromas of wild strawberry, rhubarb and rose hip. Those delightful strawberry characters flow across the palate, blending seamlessly with cranberry and pomegranate hints, complimented by a soft creamy texture from partial barrel aging on lees.

Bangor Rosé is a popular and versatile wine that can be enjoyed on it's own, or with a wide range of food from crisp salads to seafood and lamb. Best served lightly chilled.

A Note From Us

“2023 was a cool and wet season resulting in low yields. The long growing season delivered mouth watering acidity and lovely intensity of flavour in the grapes. Bangor Rosé is crafted from 100% Bangor Pinot Noir grapes, perfect for delivering those fresh summer berry Rosé flavours. Incorporating some aging in barrel on lees has given a lovely creamy texture that completes this Rosé. Just the perfect match all year round.” - Matt & Vanessa

The Maria Story

Maria Island dominates the seascape to the north of Bangor, and is a special place for the Dunbabin family. In 1869 Tom Dunbabin with his brother John, leased the island where he farmed for seven years, honing the skills that would lead to his purchase of Bangor in 1890, where his descendants still farm today.
