Interested in a wine tasting tour of Bangor vineyard - then this is for you! You will learn about Bangor Vineyard, our history and property, all while tasting our range of current release wines. This is a 45 min wine tasting and vineyard experience. Get a group of friends together and enjoy this unique insight into our vineyard and wine.

Black Glass Wine Tasting

Ready for a unique wine tasting experience? Enjoy the Bangor paired black glass wine tasting. Select 5 wines from our estate range of wines, paired with a seasonal Tasmanian tasting selection. Learn about the Bangor vineyard and wines while pairing our current vintages with food. To add a twist to the experience your wine will be poured into black glasses. Experience the flavours and aromas of wine without the sense of sight.

Come as a couple, or grab a group of friends and enjoy your very own private wine and food tasting at Bangor.

The tasting includes an entrée amount of food and is a great wine experience before or after lunch, for a short visit, or a special occasion.  $55pp, 45 mins.

Helicopter Picnic Lunch at Bangor

THE BEST PLACE FOR A PICNIC FOR TWO

This is an incredible Tasmanian experience.  A stunning helicopter tour and picnic on your own private beach at Bangor. An experience you'll never forget!

Starting your adventure from Cambridge, Tasmanian Air Tours will fly along Tasmania’s southeast coast providing a scenic helicopter flight offering views of Hobart’s southern beaches and Storm Bay out towards the Southern Ocean before continuing the scenic flight and heading to Bangor Vineyard Shed where your pilot will pick up your picnic hamper, packed with gorgeous Tasmanian food and Bangor wine. You will then fly over the historic Bangor property to a private and secluded location – Two Mile Beach.

The sea air is as crisp and clean as the fine wine and food you will enjoy. Your picnic hamper will be filled with seasonal Tasmanian delights to energise you before beach-combing to see what sea treasures you can find. Weather permitting, you can swim in the ocean. The only inhabitants you will share Two Mile Beach with are the local wallabies, wombats, birds, dolphins and possibly a passing whale.

Ride Bangor

This is a full day Bangor e-bike adventure, food and story experience. Tasmanian E-Bike Adventures provides exclusive access to ride this remarkable coastal landscape, you will have the luxury of experiencing, secluded beaches, wild forest and dramatic cliffs to yourselves. This remarkable ride enables an all-encompassing experience of exploring in continuous flowing circuit an iconic ride that connects some of the wildest and solitary coastline in south eastern Tasmania.You have access to 25kms of natural trails, riding Two Mile beach, ancient bluegum forest and panoramic coastal headlands on state-of-the art electric pedal-assisted ‘plus tyre’ mountain bikes, enabling you to unobtrusively share space with the wedge-tailed eagles and wombats, as well as the world-famous Bangor Merinos!. 

Tasman Gourmet Tasting Trail

We’re very excited to be partnering with Hellfire Bluff Distillery and Blue Lagoon Oysters to bring you this incredible experience. Taste oysters fresh out of the ocean at Blue Lagoon, sample vodka, gin, and liqueurs at Hellfire Distillery, and of course a wine tasting and lunch at Bangor. Enjoy some of the best Tassie produce, served with a dose of gorgeous country and coastal views. Come for a drive and experience the Gourmet Tasting Trail for yourself!
