Since Bangor came to be in the late 1800's, children have been a big part of the farm with over 5 generations of the family being born, raised, and educated here. Like all families, there are lots of stories of mischief and mayhem among the Bangor kids, roaming across the paddocks and bushland, and sailing, rowing and fishing in the bays.
All Tassie kids are country kids at heart. The current Bangor kids Henry, William & Amy have helped set up this page to share with you some of what it is like being a country kid at Bangor today.
This is us (William, Amy & Henry) on the farm with our pet sheep Lou Lou.
We have lots of Bangor learning materials that were first created as part of our Landcare work in the '90's by the talented local Carolyn Daly (Daly Doodle and Design). We're updating these and releasing new material each week.
Please share with us what you are doing while you are learning at home. You can send an email to us at: info@bangorshed.com.au. With your parents permission we can post some of your work here on this page.
