Abel Tasman Launch Event
Sat 28th Feb, 4 - 5:30pm
We are excited to be launching Bangor’s 2024 Abel Tasman Pinot Noir - awarded 95 points and a Gold Medal at the 2025 Australian Pinot Noir Challenge!
Come along and be among the first to taste this exciting new wine at our launch evening. Enjoy a tasting and nibbles, and a stroll through the vines with Matt Dunbabin. You’ll learn about how our Abel Tasman Pinot Noir is made, and experience our vineyard first hand as we get ready to pick the grapes for the 2026 vintage. Hear the story of Abel Tasman’s visit to our shores in 1642, and the connection of this important part of Tasmania’s history with the Bangor property.

Join us for a relaxed summer afternoon with Dusty Rusty, sharing his original music with his banjo and harmonica. Don’t miss out on an afternoon of great tunes and good times!
No cover charge, but a table booking is recommended. Food, wine, views and music, the perfect Saturday session!

We're excited to be a part of the Southern Open Vineyards Weekend again this February for a packed weekend of wine!
Wine tasting daily, 10am-5pm. Drop in for a tasting any time, no booking needed.
Bookings essential for a restaurant table.

BANGOR OPEN FOR SUMMER
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Bangor this summer. Whether you’re dropping in to pick up some wine, enjoy a tasting, settle in for brunch or lunch, or simply grab a coffee, we’re here and ready to look after you.
To help with holiday planning, here are some quick tips:
- Open 10am–5pm, 7 days for wine tastings and wine sales.
- Brunch: 10am–12pm, 7 days
- Lunch: 11am–4pm, 7 days
- We are OPEN all summer.
- No booking needed for wine tastings or to pick up bottles.
- Bookings strongly recommended for restaurant dining over summer, especially on weekends and public holidays. On busy days we may not be able to seat you for a meal without a booking.
If inside seating is full, we have a large deck area and plenty of lawn space available. You can only book a table inside (outside is not bookable), but if you have an inside table booked, you're welcome to move outside after you arrive. - Email: info@bangorshed.com.au

Bangor Brunch
Daily 10am-12noon
Brunch at Bangor. We’re filling the gap between brekkie and lunch with a brand new morning menu - available daily from 10am–12pm. Bangor egg & bacon roll, mushroom & halloumi toastie, corned beef toastie, and gingerbread granola. Best enjoyed with a fresh tea or coffee overlooking the vineyard. Biscuits, cakes and our regular menu also available.
Vineyard Tour
The general public don't have access to our vineyard, so this is a unique opportunity to see Bangor vineyard up close.
Stroll through the vines and learn about the history of the vineyard and the Bangor property, how the grapes are grown, and how Bangor wine is made. While in the vines you will taste wines from Bangor's range. Experience a working vineyard first-hand, while soaking in the views across the bay and the picturesque seaside township of Dunalley.
Black Glass Wine Tasting
Join us for a special wine tasting with a twist! Enjoy our special black glass paired wine and food tasting experience. We'd love you to come and try it!
Get ready for a sensory explosion! Taking wine tasting to the next level, we'll challenge you to rethink what you know about wine by removing the sense of sight – focusing solely on taste and smell.
Wine Tasting

We are open all summer! Taste Bangor's range of wines at our beautiful Tassie Blue Gum wine bar, while overlooking the bay and the vineyard. Whether you know a little or a lot about wine, our tastings are for everyone. Learn about our wines, the vineyard, and some of the amazing history here at Bangor. Whether looking for a few bottles or dozen, we'll pack your wine for you to take home, or we'll organise postage to your door, Australia-wide.
