TSO at Bangor

Spring Strings - The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and Bangor Vineyard invite you to a very special spring evening of music, wine and Tasmanian food.
Experience the TSO as you rarely can - just metres from the musicians, in the intimate surrounds of Bangor Vineyard Shed.
Enjoy an evening of TSO string quartet performances alongside dinner at Bangor. A return bus from Hobart makes it easy. Tickets limited - book now.
Father's Day Lunch
We are open all Fathers Day weekend, 10am - 5pm. Free glass of Bangor Pinot for Dad's on arrival (Sat or Sunday).
Enjoy a special Father's Day Pinot Noir tasting at the Cellar Door.

Adults Clay Workshop
Saturday 12th Sept, 10am-1pm
Get creative and make a pair of beautiful fairy wrens or robins for your house or garden, or for a special gift. Hand sculpt, paint and glaze your creation. Firing will occur once your piece is dry, then it can be collected from Bangor or Hobart.
An inclusive and welcoming workshop. No previous experience needed. Come and try your hand at sculpting in an intimate and fun environment. $95pp. Includes morning tea, 3 hour workshop, all materials and firing.
LIVE MUSIC AT BANGOR
BEN COOPER, SAT 12th SEPT, 1-3pm
Join us for a relaxing afternoon of food, wine, views and great conversation with friends at our upcoming live session with talented local artist Ben Cooper. No cover charge, but a booking is essential for an inside table. No bookings needed for outside.

Winter Reds Pinot Tasting
1 June - 30 August
This winter, experience Bangor’s Pinot Noir collection at its finest with a special seasonal tasting inspired by Tasmania’s dark season.
Featuring four premium cool-climate wines, including two 95-point Halliday-rated Pinot Noirs and an exclusive preview of our Reserve Pinot Noir previously available only to Wine Club members.
Followed this with a cosy, leisurely lunch, finishing with cake and coffee. All this while surrounded by the stunning scenery of our vineyard and the bay.

Vineyard Tour
The general public don't have access to our vineyard, so this is a unique opportunity to see Bangor vineyard up close.
Stroll through the vines and learn about the history of the vineyard and the Bangor property, how the grapes are grown, and how Bangor wine is made. While in the vines you will taste wines from Bangor's range. Experience a working vineyard first-hand, while soaking in the views across the bay and the picturesque seaside township of Dunalley.

Get ready for a sensory explosion! Taking wine tasting to the next level, we'll challenge you to rethink what you know about wine by removing the sense of sight – focusing solely on taste and smell.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Bangor this winter. Whether you’re dropping in to pick up some wine, enjoy a tasting, settle in for lunch, or simply grab a coffee, we’re here and ready to look after you.
To help with your planning, here are some quick tips:
- Open 10am–5pm, 7 days for wine tastings and wine sales.
- Lunch: 10am–3:30pm, 7 days
- No booking needed for wine tastings or to pick up bottles.
- Bookings strongly recommended for restaurant dining, especially on weekends and public holidays.
If inside seating is full, we have a large deck area and plenty of lawn space available. You can only book a table inside (outside is not bookable), but if you have an inside table booked, you're welcome to move outside after you arrive. - Email: info@bangorshed.com.au

We are open all summer! Taste Bangor's range of wines at our beautiful Tassie Blue Gum wine bar, while overlooking the bay and the vineyard. Whether you know a little or a lot about wine, our tastings are for everyone. Learn about our wines, the vineyard, and some of the amazing history here at Bangor. Whether looking for a few bottles or dozen, we'll pack your wine for you to take home, or we'll organise postage to your door, Australia-wide.
