To celebrate summer Tassie style, we're having a big BBQ weekend, Sat 23rd, Sun 24th January. Join us for a weekend of mouthwatering Bangor lamb on the BBQ, wine, music, face painting and views.
On Thursday 9th May, we are holding a food, wine and story-telling evening at MACq01, hosted by Bangor Vineyard owners Matt & Vanessa Dunbabin, and MACq01 Executive Chef Simon Pockran.
Our Pinot Gris is named Jimmy's Hill after the highest point on Bangor. Rising a commanding 1002 ft, Jimmy's Hill was the site of one of Tasmania's convict era semaphore stations. With a simple hut for shelter, Jimmy, the rugged bushman who called the remote outpost home, maintained a vigilant eye on adjacent stations, standing by to relay messages.
