Bangor Music in the Vines is an all-ages, open-air music festival held on the expansive lawns of Bangor Vineyard in Dunalley. The event features live music, entertainment, and family-friendly activities, showcasing regional entertainers, food, and drink. It’s about relaxed fun in the vineyard on the last weekend of daylight savings, before we head into the cooler months. The festival supports local Tasmanian musicians, performers, and artists, and incredible Tassie produce – the best of what this beautiful island state is all about.

Bangor Music in the Vines is an outdoor event held on the lawns of Bangor Vineyard Shed, 20 Blackman Bay Road, Dunalley, Tasmania. Saturday 29th March, 2025. We are a 50-minute drive from Hobart. See map here.

The first entertainers start at 3pm, and the music ends at 10pm. Full festival schedule here. You are welcome to arrive from 2pm. Saturday 29th March, 2025. Festival ticket holders are welcome to book a table in the restaurant for lunch or dinner (bookings from 12 noon - 7pm). To book a table email us at: info@bangorshed.com.au

Weather in Tassie can be variable. The festival will go ahead rain or shine, so we recommend being prepared: hats, jumpers, jackets, sunscreen, water, and picnic rugs. Low festival chairs welcome. Other small folding chairs are ok, but please be mindful of blocking the view for other patrons.

No. This is a fully licenced event. A range of food and drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) are available for purchase during the festival. You are welcome to bring water. You are welcome to bring food and drink for children under the age of 5 years.

Bangor Music in the Vines is being held outdoors on the lawns. There are limited picnic tables – not bookable. We recommend bringing a picnic rug, and/or low festival chairs. Other small folding chairs are ok, but please be mindful of blocking the view for other patrons.

Yes, this is an all-ages music event. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (over the age of 21) at all times. No alcohol will be supplied to anyone under the age of 18 – ID is essential.

No. Dogs and other animals are not permitted at Bangor Music in the Vines. The exception is registered service animals which are permitted to all areas of the Bangor Music in the Vines Festival.

Yes. Festival patrons are welcome to book a table inside the restaurant for lunch or dinner during the festival. Festival ticket holders only. There will be a restaurant menu inside and a festival menu outside. Festival food stays outside, and restaurant food stays inside. You can book a table anytime from 12noon-7pm. To book a table, first purchase your festival tickets, then email us at: info@bangorshed.com.au

No. All tickets are non-refundable. If the event is cancelled, tickets will be refunded through Humanitix. If the event is rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date - refunds will be available upon request if you cannot attend the rescheduled date. We do not replace any lost, stolen or destroyed tickets, or exchange or substitute tickets after purchase.

Bangor Music in the Vines will go head rain or shine unless deemed unsafe by event organisers. You are advised to prepare for varying weather conditions. Refunds will not be issued due to weather-related inconveniences, unless the event is cancelled.

Bangor Music in the Vines is 100% smoke-free and vape-free. There will be a designated smoking are in the carpark. If you need to leave the site, pass-outs will be available at the exit.
