Captain Spotswood showcases the red fruit characteristics of the Pinot Noir grape. Bright ruby in colour, our 2024 Spotswood introduces itself with aromas of raspberry and red cherry, following through with mouth-watering red cherry, wild strawberry, and pomegranate, with delicate spice and smooth silky tannins that make this a delightful pinot.

Captain Spotswood is a beautiful Tasmanian Pinot Noir that is all about fun times with friends and family. This Pinot can be enjoyed all year round, and paired with a wide range of food from cheese to seafood, lamb, beef and game meats.

Enjoy now or cellar for up to 5 years.

A Note From Us

“2024 was a warmer and drier season, producing big red fruit flavours, balanced beautifully with mouthwatering acidity. Enjoy this versatile wine with a wide range of food year round.” - Matt & Vanessa

The Captain Spotswood Story

In the 1830's Captain John Spotswood owned where Bangor vineyard stands today. Early records suggest that he was quite a character that rather enjoyed a drink. Captain Spotswood Pinot is all about great wine that delights, but doesn't take itself too seriously!
Bangor Wine - small batch, premium Tasmanian wine, made with minimal intervention, from hand-tended vines.

Caring for the environment everyday
