At the Australian Tourism Awards in Darwin (you can tell by the photo prop....) last night, we won GOLD in the Wineries, Breweries & Distilleries category.
This is a huge achievement for our little family business, and we are so proud to have taken home this award for the second year in a row. It's a real testament to our hard working Bangor team who deliver for our guests day after day. Also to our team on the farm and in the vineyard who look after this special part of the world that is Bangor.
To our local community, and suppliers of seafood, cheese, milk, salad, chocolate and so much outstanding produce, this is for you as well.
The Tasmanian tourism industry is incredibly supportive and collaborative, and we are fortunate to partner with so many other amazing Tassie operators, including some of the other finalists last night.
And to our families, thankyou for your support over the Bangor journey.
And of course you our guests, who visit us from near and far to share our stories, wine, food and view, a huge thanks. We're 10 years old this year, and excited for the next 10!!
Tassie Scoops Gold on the National Stage
Tasmania really punched above its weight last night at the Australian Tourism Awards in Darwin. With 7 GOLD, 3 SILVER and 1 BRONZE, it was a wonderful celebration of the incredible tourism experience that is Tasmania. A huge congratulations to all of the medalists and finalists.
