This Dec 1st, Bangor Vineyard Shed turns 10! We're so excited to have reached this exciting milestone.
Starting from very humble beginnings - two farmers, Matt & Vanessa Dunbabin with an interest in wine planting their first vines in 2010, to nearly losing the vineyard in the 2013 bushfires, to building our fantastic cellar door venue, opening Dec 2014. Ten years later we have doubled the size of the cellar door and the vineyard, won wine trophies, and tourism awards, and been inducted into the Tasmanian Tourism Hall of Fame.
To celebrate we have a weekend of activities planned. Join us for wine tasting, food, live music and vineyard tours!
Food - we're bringing out some of our most favourite dishes from when we first opened, including the Famous Bangor Lamb Pie, and our incredible Bangor Seafood Platters. One weekend only - 29th Nov - 1st Dec. Enjoy!!
Competition - visit us over the birthday long weekend and have a go at guessing the number of corks in the box to win a 6 pack of Bangor wine.
