Wine & Wombats is back for the 3rd and final time for 2019!
Did you know that Bangor has Tasmania's largest population of wombats! In recent survey, DPIPWE counted over 500 wombats in just one night, and in only one area of Bangor!
To celebrate our amazing wombat residents, we are running a Wine & Wombats Tour. Come for a twilight tour of Bangor, and see Wombats, Wallabies, Sea Eagles and other wonderful wildlife and scenery. Learn about the Bangor property and its incredible history, and about the nature conservation work we do here. Arrive back at Bangor Vineyard Shed for nibbles and a chat around the fire.
- Saturday 24th August
- 3 hour experience with Matt & Vanessa Dunbabin
- departs 3:30pm from Bangor Vineyard Shed with a mug of warm mulled wine in hand (hot chocolate for the kids)
- 1.5 hour bus tour around Bangor
- Arrive back at Bangor Vineyard Shed for a lovely selection of evening nibbles
- Finishes at 6:30pm
Included:
3 hour experience with a 1.5 hour bus tour.
Mug of mulled wine (or hot chocolate) for the bus.
Nibbles in Bangor Shed afterwards (wine & other drinks for purchase)
