We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Bangor this winter. While many vineyards do close over winter, we’re open every day 11am-5pm. The perfect time to try Bangor a wine tasting, pick up a bottle of wine for gift or special event, stroll through the vines on a vineyard tour, or enjoy lunch with friends and family.
Bookings are recommended for inside tables (especially on weekends and public holidays). We also have a large deck area (heated and covered) with tables for anyone that drops in without a booking, and picnic tables on our large, fenced lawns. If sitting outside, we recommend bringing a hat, and a jacket for the cold Tassie winter.

Wine tasting with a difference! Take a stroll through the vines and learn about the history of the vineyard and the Bangor property, about how the grapes are grown, and how Bangor wine is made. While in the vines you will taste wines from Bangor's range. Experience a working vineyard first-hand, while soaking in the views across the bay and the picturesque seaside township of Dunalley. The general public don't have access to our vineyard, so this is a unique opportunity to see Bangor vineyard up close.

Meet the Experts:

• Dr. Eric Woehler OAM: Renowned bird ecologist, will reveal the vital role Tasmania plays as a refuge for shorebirds. Discover the secrets of these incredible birds and why our region is crucial for their survival.
• Bill Brown: Esteemed wildlife biologist, will share insights into the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program. Learn about the unique, disease-free devil population thriving on the Forestier and Tasman Peninsulas.

This event promises to be engaging and educational for all ages. Whether you're a curious child, a passionate adult, or someone simply looking to spend an enriching afternoon, this showcase has something for everyone.

By popular demand, this is one for the adults. Ceramics workshop for adults at Bangor Vineyard Shed, Saturday 3rd August 10am-1pm.

Get creative and make a ceramic bird for your house or garden. Hand sculpt, paint and glaze your creation. Firing will occur once your piece is dry, then it can be collected from Bangor or Hobart.

An inclusive and welcoming workshop. No previous experience needed. Come and try your hand at sculpting in an intimate and fun environment.

The workshop is run by Ilana @ilanabeadesigns who is enthusiastic about passing on her techniques and sharing the love of art with others!
