Bangor Vineyard - A Story In Every Bottle
Bangor is an award-winning family owned vineyard near Dunalley on the tourist route to the Port Arthur Historic site. Our vines are hand tended, producing premium quality cool climate wine, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesing, Rosé, Sparkling, and our Reserve range of wines. We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Bangor this autumn. Whether you’re dropping in to pick up some wine, enjoy a tasting, settle in for brunch or lunch, or simply grab a coffee, we’re here and ready to look after you.
- Open 10am–5pm, 7 days for wine tastings and wine sales.
- Brunch: 10am–12pm, 7 days.
- Lunch: 11am–4pm, 7 days.
- Open March long weekend. Closed Good Friday, and OPEN every other day over Easter.
- No booking needed for wine tastings or to pick up bottles.
- Bookings strongly recommended for restaurant dining.
As the weather cools over Autumn, we recommend bringing a jacket for sitting outside on the deck.
Bangor Brunch
Daily 10am-12noon
Brunch at Bangor. We’re filling the gap between brekkie and lunch with a brand new morning menu - available daily from 10am–12pm. Bangor egg & bacon roll, mushroom & halloumi toastie, corned beef toastie, and gingerbread granola. Best enjoyed with a fresh tea or coffee overlooking the vineyard. Biscuits, cakes and our regular menu also available.

Our cellar door and restaurant are open 10am to 5pm daily. Pop in for a tasting and a glass of wine, book a vineyard tour, enjoy a relaxed lunch, or chat to our team about booking your next private event, wedding, or corporate function. Family friendly. Upcoming Events
Matt & Vanessa invite you to join us for an evening of fireworks and fun at Bangor. This is a small fireworks display, country style. Come along for dinner in the restaurant beforehand, enjoy a cheese platter, chips, or oysters from our snack menu on the deck, or bring your own picnic.
Drinks for sale from the bar (no byo drinks).
The fireworks show starts at 7pm and lasts about 20 minutes.
Tickets are limited. All proceeds from tickets will be donated to the local Dunalley Primary School Association.
Date: Saturday 30 May.
Time: Dinner from 5:00pm. Fireworks start 7pm. Closing 8:30pm.
Location: Bangor Vineyard Shed, Dunalley.
Tickets: $5 per adult, $2 per child (5-17yrs), under 5's free (all ticket proceeds donated to the Dunalley Primary School Association).
Food: Enjoy a meal in the restaurant, snacks from our menu on the deck, or bring your own picnic - or just come for the fireworks.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Bangor this autumn. We're open every day 10am-5pm. The perfect time to try Bangor a wine tasting, pick up a bottle of wine for gift or special event, stroll through the vines on a vineyard tour, or enjoy lunch with friends and family.
Bookings are recommended for inside tables (especially on weekends and public holidays). We also have a large deck area (heated and covered) with tables for anyone that drops in without a booking, and picnic tables on our large, fenced lawns. If sitting outside, we recommend bringing a hat, and a jacket for the Tassie weather.

Do we need a booking?
- No booking needed for wine tastings or to pick up bottles.
- Bookings strongly recommended for restaurant dining, especially on weekends and public holidays. On busy days we may not be able to seat you for a meal without a booking.
If inside seating is full, we have a large deck area and plenty of lawn space available. You can only book a table inside (outside is not bookable), but if you have an inside table booked, you're welcome to move outside after you arrive.

Wine tasting with a difference! Take a stroll through the vines and learn about the history of the vineyard and the Bangor property, about how the grapes are grown, and how Bangor wine is made. While in the vines you will taste wines from Bangor's range. Experience a working vineyard first-hand, while soaking in the views across the bay and the picturesque seaside township of Dunalley. The general public don't have access to our vineyard, so this is a unique opportunity to see Bangor vineyard up close.
